For months and months our letterbox is completely overflowed!

Our team hardly managed to keep up with the viewing of aprox. 3500 shortfilms that have been sent from all parts of the world.

International well-known shortfilm directors and newcomers sent us their work to make sure that they will be part of the ISFF Detmold 2011. Only the best ones which are funny, creative, crazy, thrilling and touching at the same time will be shown. A multiple choice of different filmgenres e.g. fiction, experimental, animation, documentary and music clips will be presented in block-form to a large and also international audience.

Additionally to that there will be film-blocks after which the directors will lead a discussion-round for 30 min. during this time one has the chance to ask questions and to speak with the creators about their work.

The wide range of this film program will not come to an end just yet there is still more that the ISFF Detmold 2011 will offer: Simultaneously one can find various art exhibitions, workshops about shortfilms and photography, art and video installation and concerts on top of that. Due to this great occasion live bands like "The Senior Allstars In Dub" and live balkan band "Äl Jawala" have been exclusively invited to play their part at the ISFF.

At ISFF will be various art presentations, Installation art, Performances, Happenings to inspire you even more.
